As it's coming closer and closer to summer, I've come back to my obsession with neon colours. I absolutely adore wearing bright shades on my nails in the summer months, and these are just a few that I've picked up recently and have fallen in love with.
Pool Party is probably my most worn so far of the four polishes that I'm writing about. It's a true hot pink, and I absolutely love looking down at my nails with this on them! It's a very opaque colour and takes only two coats.
For me, Flip Flop Fantasy is an old favourite. I picked it out when getting a pedicure last February before a trip to Cuba, and knew I had to purchase it. I just repurchased it a few days ago as my old bottle had gone all funny because I hadn`t used it all winter. Though somewhat similar to Pool Party, this colour is more of a real Barbie pink and I really adore this shade.
This is a perfect colour for summer because it looks great against tanned skin, and I`m just so obsessed with this colour! This colour looks perfect with three coats, but is still amazing with two. This colour basically glows when worn, and I can`t stop looking at it, as it`s currently on my fingers.
I really love this bright green colour and think it`s perfect for on my toes, as I wouldn`t really wear this colour on my fingers.
All of the colours featured were from the brand China Glaze, except for Sexy Sundress which is by Finger Paints. I`ve never really heard anyone mention this
brand before, but I really like it. I`ve bought the few Finger Paints
polishes that I own at Sally`s Beauty Supply. An important thing to remember when buying neon shades however, is that they tend to have a matte finish. I`m not the biggest fan of that look though, so I just go over them with Seche Vite, which I would do regardless.
Anyways, I can`t go on enough about how much I love all of these shades. I plan on wearing them all summer long!
